Lasers deflected using ultrasound

Publication in Nature Photonics: Measurement and Sensor Technology Group contributes to innovative concept.
Using a novel method, beams of laser light can be deflected using air alone. An invisible grating made only of air is not only immune to damage from the laser light, but it also preserves the original quality of the beam, reports the interdisciplinary research team in the journal Nature Photonics.

Technical excursion with students of the specialization SAE 2023

From June 19 to 22, the SAE (Sensors, Actuators, Electronics) field trip took place under this year's organization of the Measurement and Sensor Technology Group. Accompanied by 32 dedicated students, the four exciting days included visits to various renowned companies in the industry: Dentsply Sirona in Bensheim, Bosch in Renningen, BMW in Munich and the Deutsches Museum also in Munich.
