The Department of Measurement and Sensor Technology is strongly represented this year, presenting results from various research projects in two lectures and two posters.

Thanks to our alumni association, “EMKlub,” students and employees participated in a three-day acoustics workshop by COMSOL Multiphysics©.

We thank Prof. Gijs Krijnen (University of Twente) for his lecture on seamless sensor integration through 3D printing as part of the LokoAssist project.

The Department of MUST participates in the Tongji Workshop led by Prof. Dr. Bai-Xiang Xu (FB 11 MaWi) and faculty from Tongji University. Afterwards, we are pleased to offer a lab tour for students and faculty at our facility.

We are pleased to welcome Prof. Yuzhi Shi, Miss Wenqian Cui and some students to the Measurement and Sensor Technology Group with a lab tour.

We are excited to welcome Mark Suppelt to the team as a research associate.

Right on time for the summer semester of 2024, not only the components but also we ourselves were “under tension” during our visit to Pikatron. The low-resistance connection certainly doesn´t hurt!

We visited the Fraunhofer Institute for Structural Durability and System Reliability LBF. We were accompanied by Professor Xiaoqing Zhang from Tongji University, who is currently a guest in our Department of Measurement and Sensor Technology.
