From July 7 to 11, 2025, the AMAM25 took place at TU Darmstadt, in conjunction with the second LokoAssist Symposium – an international conference dedicated to adaptive motion in animals and machines. As part of this high-level academic exchange, Mark Suppelt presented a poster entitled: “Real-Time Gait Phase Estimation Based on Textile Integrated Ferroelectrets and Adaptive Oscillators”. The poster introduced a system for continuous gait phase estimation based on textile-integrated ferroelectrets, analyzed in real time using adaptive oscillators. The presented approach offers a promising solution for wearable sensing in motion analysis.

In addition, Mark Suppelt took part in the LokoAssist Workshop, held as part of AMAM25, where he presented Project Area A of the LokoAssist Research Training Group. This project area focuses on the development and integration of novel sensors, actuators, and materials for adaptive, body-worn assistive systems. AMAM25 provided an excellent opportunity to present the group's research to an international audience and to gain new inspiration for future collaborations.
