LokoAssist Retreat 2024
A Retreat for Reflection, Exchange, and Progress
2024/11/19

The second LokoAssist RTG retreat took place on 18–19 November 2024 in the picturesque Odenwald region. The event began with an opening address by Professor André Seyfarth, who reflected on the progress made since last year and outlined the objectives for this year's retreat.
A key highlight of the retreat was the parallel meetings held on the first afternoon, where PIs and PhD students convened separately to discuss topics relevant to their respective roles. The insights gathered from these discussions were presented and reviewed in a collaborative session the following day.
Throughout the retreat, PhD candidates and associated researchers shared updates on their ongoing projects through a poster session or talks. These sessions not only provided a platform to showcase research but also fostered valuable feedback and discussion among participants.
The retreat saw active participation from the LokoAssist community, with attendees engaging in meaningful exchanges about their work. The event once again proved to be a vital opportunity for strengthening collaboration, networking, and shared learning within the RTG.
We look forward to building on the momentum from this retreat as we continue advancing research in LokoAssist.
