In the winter semester 2021/22, a pipeline for integrating various geodata into the Unity 3D Engine was generated as part of an internship and an initial model of the 3D campus was created.

As part of a thesis, the project “3D Campus” in SS 2022 was supplemented by 360-degree images. This gives you the opportunity to see in striking places what it looks like in reality there.

In SS23, as part of a thesis, a pipeline for capturing, processing, and simplifying geospatial data was developed, leading to the creation of a high-resolution 3D model of a section of the Lichtwiese campus.

As part of an internship in WiSe 2022/23 a plattform was created enabling the participation in the campus design. Users can design the Alexander-von-Humboldt-Platz in a playful environment and share their designs for others to see.

During the internship 2021/22 an initial version of a quest editor for creating interactive environments has been created.

In the course of another internship in SoSe 2022, the interiors of certain buildings were modeled and integrated into the game.

During the winter semester of 2022/23 a new feature was developed as part of a bachelor thesis. It allows for the visualization of building specific data. Via an interface users can retrieve information regarding the energy and heating consumption of campus buildings.

Using the pipeline and geodata integration in Unity 3D, the interactive educational game “Magical AdvenTUre” was developed in WiSe2021/22.
