3D Campus – the origin

The initial version of the 3D campus has been established within a practical course on Serious Games in the winter term 2021/22. Hereby, a pipeline has been conceptualized to integrate a broad range of geodata sources via ArcGIS and City Engine (GIS software from ESRI) into the game engine Unity 3D. The following trailer (at "Mehr erfahren") shows exemplarily the different data sources in the program ArcGIS CityEngine.
