The Scientific Working and Writing module, formerly known as Pro-Seminar Electrical Engineering and Information Technology (ETiT), is designed for bachelor’s students in Electrical Engineering and covers topics in electrical engineering and computer science. It is usually students’ first exposure to research-oriented seminar, and prepares them for future project seminars and their bachelor thesis. The primary focus is on independently searching the literature, reading and understanding scientific content (e.g., conference papers, journal articles, books), and presenting the findings in both written and oral formats (i.e., a short written report and a presentation to a scientific audience).
