In the Heart of Darmstadt
The etit Department is centrally located on TU Darmstadt’s Stadtmitte Campus. Our main building, S3|21, is a five-minute walk from the centre of town.
Directions
By Car
Leave the Autobahn A5 or A67 at the exit Darmstadt. Follow the signs TU Stadtmitte in direction downtown straight on. Enter the city tunnel and take the middle lane. After 500 m you leave the tunnel to the left. To reach the department building S3|21, turn left at the first traffic lights after the tunnel. After about 200 m enter the Justus-Liebig-Parkhaus (parking garage). From there it is a 2 minute walk. Leave the parking garage to the right and cross the Landgraf-Georg-Straße to enter the Fraunhoferstraße. The building S3|21 is now just a few meters further away on the left side.

From the Airport
From the airport the HEAG-Airliner (bus line) departs from terminal 1 and 2 directly to Darmstadt (riding time appr. 25 minutes). In Darmstadt, leave the bus at the bus stop Hauptbahnhof (Darmstadt main station). From there, see directions “by bus and train”.
By Bus and Train
From Darmstadt Hauptbahnhof (main station) you reach the institute building via tram line 3 or bus lines H and K, leave the tram/bus at station Schloss. From there it is a 2 minute walk in driving direction of the tram/bus to reach the Landgraf-Georg-Straße. The first street on your left is Fraunhoferstraße. Our department building S3|21 is now on your left side.
