At the Creative Industries Day Hessen 2024, held on June 21, 2024, in Frankfurt, the Serious Games Working Group once again showcased their innovative projects. This year, the event captivated numerous participants by highlighting the diversity and creativity of Hessen's creative industry.

Florian Horn represented the Serious Games Working Group and presented two outstanding exhibits: “Eggtopia” and “Code Commanders.”

“Eggtopia” is a humorous game that raises awareness about the issues of factory farming. Players experience the challenges and moral dilemmas of modern agriculture. The game entertainingly conveys the importance of sustainable and conscious eating.

“Code Commanders” is another highlight. This programming learning game follows a penguin on its adventures, where players help it accomplish various tasks by piecing together code blocks. The game playfully promotes interest and understanding in programming and computer science.

The Creative Industries Day 2024 once again underscored the crucial role of Serious Games in education and awareness. The showcased projects demonstrate how modern technologies can be utilized to foster learning and societal engagement.
