Mohammad Javad Salariseddigh studied in Electrical Engineering program with a focus on Telecommunications at Khajeh Nasir Toosi University of Technology, Iran, and received B.Sc. degree in 2014. His bachelor thesis was on the topic of ‘Analysis and Simulation of Beamforming in Multiple Peer-to-Peer Communications’. He begins his graduate studies at Friedrich-Alexander-University Erlangen-Nuremberg, Germany, in two concurrent master programs titled: Communication and Multimedia Engineering (CME) and Computational Engineering (CE). In 2018, he graduated with an M.Sc. degree in CME. His master thesis was titled 'Impact of Flow on the Channel Impulse Response of Molecular Communication Systems’. In September 2019, he became a member of the Institute for Communications Engineering at Technical University of Munich and started working on his doctoral studies (PhD) under supervision of Prof. Dr. Gerhard Kramer. His PhD study was primarily focused on the Identification Problem and its connection to Molecular Communications. He completed his PhD dissertation on the subject of 'Deterministic Identification for Molecular Communications' and was awarded Dr. -Ing. (Doctor of Engineering) degree in January 2024. Following his PhD, in March 2024, he joined Resilient Communication Systems Group at Technical University of Darmstadt to pursue his Post-Doctoral research under Supervision of Prof. Dr. Vahid Jamali. His current research interests include Molecular Communications and Information Theory. In particular, his interests include coding, modeling, and information theoretical aspects of the Identification Problem within the context of Molecular Communications.
