Recognition for Collaborative Radar Research at emergenCITY Week 2025

During this year’s emergenCITY Week from May 26 to 28 at TU Darmstadt, the emergenCITY Collaboration Award was granted to Christian A. Schroth, Christian Eckrich, and Stefan Fabian. The award recognized their interdisciplinary work on semi-autonomous radar-equipped robots for emergency response scenarios. It highlights the value of joint research across domains and honors projects that bridge disciplinary boundaries to tackle complex societal and technical challenges.
The event gathered over 70 researchers for talks and poster sessions, fostering exchange on topics such as resilient communication, cyber-physical systems, and urban infrastructure protection.
