In the project seminars Hands-on Sensor Systems in the winter semester and Active Research in Sensor Systems in the summer semester, current topics from the direct research environment of measurement and sensor technology are explored. The accompanying project work is embedded in the ongoing research activities of the Measurement and Sensor Technology (MUST) Group and offers students practical insights into scientific work and publishing.
In the weekly seminar, experts from the MUST group present a variety of topics from their respective research areas, complemented by lectures from external speakers. The aim of the seminars is to provide methodological tools and specialized knowledge that are valuable not only in research but also across a wide range of applications. In addition to deepening technical expertise, the project seminars specifically promote the development of soft skills. In particular, they strengthen independent teamwork, presentation skills, and academic writing. Basic knowledge of German is recommended for participation in the seminar.
