2016 – 2022 Research group leader on “Nanophotonic Laser Accelerators” at TU Darmstadt and leader of the “Simulations and Beam Dynamics” group of the international ACHIP Collaboration. Visiting scientist at UCLA and Stanford University. Habilitation on the topic “Electron Beam Dynamics in Dielectric Laser Accelerators”.

2011 – 2015 PhD student, partly as scholarship holder and partly on a full time position at TU Darmstadt in cooperation with GSI and CERN, on the topic “Determination of Beam Coupling Impedance in the Frequency Domain”, thesis evaluated “with distinction (summa cum laude)” (Prof. Boine-Frankenheim, Prof. Weiland).

2005 – 2011 Diploma studies in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology with specialization in “Theoretical Electrical Engineering” at the TU Darmstadt, including one year as exchange student at IIT Madras in Chennai, India
