“A number unattainable for almost all professors”

This is how Prof. Tran Quoc Khanh, who as examiner was a member of the examination committee for the disputation of Mr. Philipp Keßler, referred to Prof. Isermann's performance. Prof. Isermann smiles and says that not only quantity counts. He is particularly proud that a large number of his doctoral students hold responsible, forward-looking positions at universities and companies such as Daimler, BMW, Opel, Ford, Bosch, Continental, and others.

Under COVID19 conditions, the doctoral examination took place digitally via Zoom. The topic of the doctoral thesis is: Fault-tolerant mechatronic actuator systems with realization of an electric duplex power steering system.
