Certificate recognizes excellence in teaching: Prof. Muma honoured

On 20 November 2024, Prof. Muma was awarded the Athene Prize for good teaching for his course Robust Data Science with Biomedical Applications. He received the departmental prize in the field of electrical engineering and information technology.

The lecture teaches both methodological basics and current developments in robust data science methods with biomedical relevance. It combines theory and modern research in a particularly successful way, making it one of the best proposals in the category ‘Project of a working group or organisational unit’. The jury for the university award therefore recommended that Prof. Muma be presented with a certificate in recognition of his teaching achievements.
