Innovation and diversity in teaching – TU Darmstadt honors outstanding best practice models

On Wednesday, November 20, 2024, the “Athena Prizes for Good Teaching” were awarded.
Since 2010, the Carlo and Karin Giersch Foundation has awarded these prizes to individuals, groups or organizational units that have introduced exemplary and outstanding formats into academic teaching. The award ceremony took place following the annual “Teaching Day” of TU Darmstadt. Prof. Michael Muma received the Department Award for Electrical Engineering and Information Technology for his excellent teaching in the field of “Robust Data Science with Biomedical Applications” by combining foundational theory with modern research.
