MACIA continues

Once again, we had the pleasure of visiting Prof. Bergita Ganse at Saarland University Medical Center, this time to prepare for our MACIA – Muscle and Cartilage in Antarctica project.

In this study, we aim to investigate how spending the winter at the Concordia research station in Antarctica affects participants' muscles and cartilage, using, among other methods, camera-based motion analysis.

This time, we also had the opportunity to meet Veronika Puisa, the ESA's designated research physician, who will oversee our experiment on site.

We would like to thank everyone for the time spent together and are very much looking forward to continuing our collaboration!
