We are delighted that it has become a tradition to welcome Dr. Katrin Lunze to Darmstadt once a year. Each visit brings an exciting lecture on ventricular assist devices (heart support systems) from an industry expert. Katrin is Manager of Physiological Modeling and Control at Johnson & Johnson MedTech (formerly ABIOMED Europe GmbH) and Deputy Chair of the AUTOMED Technical Committee of the German Society for Biomedical Engineering (DGBMT) within the VDE.
