Gökhan has been with us since 2021 and was funded by the Turkish government’s YLSY (“Selection and Placement of Candidates Sent Abroad for Postgraduate Education”) scholarship. During his time with us, Gökhan has conducted outstanding research (including the institute’s most-cited paper), made us laugh with his dry humor, and—last but not least—welcomed a daughter into the world!
