We were delighted to be part of the “XLIV Annual School 2025 – Unlocking the Mind and Emotions” this year! The annual summer school took place for the 44th time (!) and showcases the long-standing tradition of biomedical engineering programs in Italy. This time, KIS*MED contributed a presentation on “Photoplethysmography Imaging – A Contactless Approach.” Alongside engaging discussions, there was plenty to see — for instance, the humanoid robot Abel (https://forelab.unipi.it/technologies/abel-new-generation-hyper-realistic-humanoid-robot) developed by Professor Enzo Pasquale Scilingo and his team at the University of Pisa.
