We are delighted to have been part of this year's annual conference of the German Society for Biomedical Engineering (DGBMT) at VDE in Duisburg as a team of four. We would like to express our gratitude to the organizers for a wonderful time and we are already looking forward to meeting the German community again next year in Stuttgart (with Darmstadt alumnus Prof. Peter P.
