Malte Lennart Drees received his Master of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering from the Department of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology, Technische Universität Darmstadt, Germany, in 2025. He wrote his Master Thesis on the generation of CT-based 3D FEM models for Electrical Impedance Tomography simulation.

In 2026, he joined the KIS*MED research group as a Ph.D. student, where his work focuses on the development of intelligent sensor systems for real-time therapeutic drug monitoring in pediatric oncology.
