Biography
Friederike Hicking received her Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering as part of the Double Degree Program from the University of Rhode Island, USA, in 2024 and from TU Darmstadt in 2025.
Her thesis focused on the analysis of smartwatch-derived motion data to identify differences in hyperactive behavior in children with ADHD and non-ADHD.
Since 2025, she has been part of the KIS*MED research group, where her work focuses on robotics in rehabilitation and other medical applications, as well as human motion analysis through camera imaging.
