Jutta Hanson is a professor at the Department of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology at TU Darmstadt. She is head of the Lab Electrical Power Systems with Integration of Renewable Energies (E5) and a senator in the Helmholtz Association (Germany's largest research organisation) for the research field Energy.
In this episode, Laura and Maria talk to Professor Jutta Hanson about her career, how she discovered her fascination for electrical engineering and in particular about her experiences as a woman in a traditionally male-dominated field, about diversity and equality and about the question of how to get more female students and researchers interested in electrical engineering.
